Therakind is a specialist pharmaceutical company focused on paediatric medicines, is developing a simple novel device that enables rapid and easy treatment of hypoglycaemia. Severe hypoglycaemia currently results in at least 15,000 hospital admissions each year in England. An easy to use device should reduce hospital admissions and provide long-term benefits resulting from tighter glycaemic control. |
